Taylor Martin's Late Night

From the C.D. "How It All Started"

     My son, as a baby, had the croup for quite some time. Since I was a light sleeper, I would most often be up with him when owls hunt. I'd lay him in my lap and fingerpick my guitar at him and he'd go to sleep. Well, after awhile this melody I had improvised for him wouldn't work anymore, so I added a second part. By the time the croup was gone I had created a tune with five movements that has calmed a lot of folks ever since.
