Wolf Dreams

         1.There’s a cold rain fallin,’

storm clouds blowin’ down from the north,

I can hear the wolves howlin.’

Give me shelter, from the storm…shelter.

2.Late at night the fires dyin’,

comes the snow down from the north,

I am so afraid of dyin’.

Give me shelter, from the storm…shelter.

Bridge: It seems I’ve walked ten thousand miles,

but I can’t find a place to rest.

No more fire I’ll soon be freezin’.

Lonely mountains called, I heard their voice, I had no choice.

Insert: Where we go when we’re not wakened,

and what we dream, is it ourselves?

Choices past or those are taken.

3.The pack is close, I hear them bayin’,

I never thought it’d end this way.

A lonely death I’d best be prayin’.

Give me shelter, from the storm…shelter.

Bridge: It seems I’ve finally reached the edge now,

wolves all around I see their eyes.

I smell their breath I feel I’m fallin’.

Insert: Lonely mountains called, I heard them wail, I took the trail.
